A Photographer based in Somerset

I am a newborn & baby photographer in Bridgwater, Somerset UK.  I love all forms of photography but specialise in newborn, maternity, baby and child photography.  I have a beautiful purpose built studio between Bridgwater and Taunton in Somerset. The studio is specifically equipped for these types of sessions, it is safe, relaxed and I even have a country garden for outdoor images.

The newborn photography I do involves a lot of thought and creativity with the use of props, backdrops, hats etc., I have a massive range! This helps bespoke the session to your needs and I take great care if doing so and listening to what you want. It also involves a lot of patience and time dedicated to get those special shots in the first few days of a babies life.

Having over 8 years experience of this type of photography, you can be assured the quality and experience provides you with the type of images you see here.

I am experienced, insured and fully trained by some of the best newborn photographers and baby safety is paramount in all that I do. I am a member of BANPAS which promotes safe working practices amongst newborn and baby photography.

What I offer

Based in Bridgwater, Somerset, with over 12 years of specialist newborn experience, fully qualified and insured, I offer a relaxed experience in my purpose built studio and customising every session to provide a high quality service unique to you. I have an extensive range of props and accessories to suit your needs and make the images I capture truly precious.

If you love the idea of beautiful professional images that also look natural and aim to capture your baby as they are in the first few days in their life (after all aren’t they perfect!) You will love a photoshoot with me!

My photography studio based in Somerset and is within easy reach of Bridgwater, Taunton, Yeovil, Glastonbury, Bruton and Weston Super Mare. 
As I specialise in all things related to baby photography, I don’t offer wedding, commercial or on location sessions. I can however recommend Moment Photography

We had a fantastic experience when we took our little boy to Sharon’s studio. As soon as we arrived we were made welcome and able to discuss what we wanted to get from the photoshoot. Sharon is very professional and a fantastic photographer. My partner and I loved watching her work while she carefully positioned our son into cute positions in the most adorable outfits! She has a great range of props and was able to incorporate our special items that we brought along. We loved being invited back to look through the pictures. It was hard choosing our favourite as they were all so good! The photographs arrived quick and we love having them in a special box/up in the nursery to remember the experience and show others. Ah what an experience ! Firstly, Sharon is the baby whisperer 🙏🏼🤌🏼 my baby was so calm in Sharon’s presence it was truly astounding. She was extremely calm, professional, kind, and patient. It was a lovely experience from start to finish, we’ve just picked out the photos from the package we chose which we found extremely reasonable given the amount of photos we were given and what was edited. Our baby’s true personality despite being premature 4 weeks old at the time of the shoot…really came to life. The studio is well heated, and relaxing for both baby and parents. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
